June Gloom

So it's June, 2006.
Looks like we survived 6/6/06, so far.
I'm not the bible thumping end of the world type, but I am a believer in word of Christ. I've seen many powerfully results of my believer mother, family and friends prayers come to pass, heck I have even had a few prayers answered in my time of need. I guess the key is acceptance of what is meant to be, over our desire to have things work out the way we want. Just like the Rolling Stones hit said - you can't always get what you want, you get what you need.
We just don't know what we need sometimes and ask for the things we want.
Back to the point as this rant relates to the world affairs, we must remember things will happen according to their destined time. The political landscape of all nations will fluctuate according to "Gods" timeline - not ours. Some political parties through out the world believe they hold the power to speed up and instill biblical prophecies they want to see happen over, using the power of prayer to fulfill the daily needs of their nations people. I suggest we let "God" decide what the nations of the world need, and concentrate on praying to meet the daily needs of our people.
